We’ve just taken delivery of the Arri Signature Primes and Cooke S7/i lenses as we continue to invest into Large Format. Arri Signature Primes have a true T1.8 aperture and cover full frame and beyond. They have a common fixed front diameter of 114mm, eleven blade iris assembly and are lightweight with the average weight being approximately 2kg. They render organic images, natural skin tones and creamy bokeh with a smooth focus fall-off. Our Arri Signature Prime lens set consists of 25, 29, 40, 47, 75 & 95mm. Additional lenses available include 21, 58, 125 & 150mm.
In comparison the Cooke S7/i’s have a true T2.0 aperture and also cover full frame and beyond. They have a common fixed front diameter of 110mm, nine blade iris assembly and an average weight of approximately 3.5kg. They have the classic ‘Cooke look’ a warm look with a cinematic texture, great skin tones, interesting bokeh, smooth sharpness and gentle focus fall-off. Our Cooke S7/i lens set consists of 25, 32, 40, 50, 75 & 100mm. Additional lenses available include 135mm.
